"Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts...
There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature - the assurance that the dawn comes after night, and spring after winter."

AH YES! <3
I read it not long ago. Was very insightful if not a little sad the more you thought about the themes she discusses.
I was rearranging my bookcase and came across some notes in the book I made and this was the quote that stood out.

I read it long ago probably early in high school. I believe
the main meaning of the book was that birds were killed off
and once spring came the trees never produced leaves and
flowers didnt bloom and there we no birds chirping or singing
cause they were all killed off. Like I said long ago so Im just
trying to remember.

My way of coming into contact with this book was school adjacent.
You're 100% right that is one of the themes of the book!
I guess my main take away was that we (humans) need to work with nature not against her and that we are doing serious harm with the extensive use of pesticides in both farming and domestic use.

It sounds nice. I never heard of 'Scilent Spring'. Is it a good book?

I think it is a good book, certainly a classic on ecology and humans need to care for it.
