Looks good but who knows when it'll actually come out. They keep delaying most of the good movies.

I've only read the first book...but yes, it is very good. At some point I would like to sit down and read ALL of the Dune books, even the ones his son continued to write after he (Frank Herbet) died.

Cult film maker Alejandro Jodorowsky attempted to put together his own film version of Dune in the 1970's. It was very outlandish, expensive and ultimately failed and was never fully produced. But they made a documentary about it and it is quite interesting to hear some of the crazy ideas he had for his film version of the book.

Here's the trailer...

I am not a fan of Zendaya, i am always suspicious of people with just one name lol But I will forgive since Jason Momoa is in it! I am so excited to see it! :)

That would've been cool if he had actually made it. I actually liked the David Lynch version, even if it was kinda like huh? lol. I liked the way it looked, everything was gold and black.

True, true. :lol3: Really looking for the movie though. I suffered through that 80's mess. I like most 80's movies, but not that one. I'm sure this will be a helluva lot better.

Yeah and I hear the film only adapts the first half of the Novel so it’s not like it’s gonna feel like everything being crammed down our throats, though I would mind if lil Timmy Tim is one of those things :D

Well if it's a hit there's gonna be a sequel, so if he ain't in the first one he'll definitely be in the second one. :)

I heard the production ran out of sand. I don't know if this is true. The trailer looks promising.

In these CGI times I doubt it.

Warner Bros announced that their movies are gonna drop into HBO Max at same time as theaters, so we can watch Dune that way if we want. Yay!
