OK, I'm positive that most people on here has heard about the Sims franchise, but I don't know how many on here play Sims 4, or any of it's predecessors. Nevertheless, Sims 4 is going to get a Star Wars pack real soon, and I'm super excited about it, and given all the hate, I get the feeling that I'm the only one. Seriously. I saw the trailer on YouTube, and the comment section... damn! I haven't seen such hate since the Ghostbusters reboot in 2016. I mean, you don't like it, don't get it, yeah? No one is forcing anyone to get it.
So, are you a simmer? If so, what do you think? If you're not, but feel like writing here anyway, keep it civil. :)

I played the Sims 3 a bit when I was younger, but all I did was become a firefighter and marry pretty people since that’s what I wanted to do IRL :P meh, not super my thing, but I can see how people can have a lot of fun with it. Star Wars expansion pack sounds interesting tho, I wonder what it’s gonna include

Yeah the firefighter thing in Sims 3 was fun, but it got old eventually. xD
I got very excited when I saw the trailer for the Star Wars pack, I just hope it won't turn out to be the best part of the whole thing. :P

Haha, I didn't even think about that. :lol3:
Good, good, as opposed to 90% of the fellow simmers around the globe, I can't wait. :)

I don't play the sims, but my sister does, and I don't think she's too happy about a star wars pack

I might take a look at it but it’s been a while since I’ve played Sims 4

The trailer looked great. I'm nit a huge Star Wars fan, I just watched the movies. But the combination of Sims 4 and Star Wars looks fun and new. The comments are sometimes pure hate, which is something of the dark side when I remember the movies right.

Yeah, hate and anger is a sure way to the dark side. It was absolutely fun, unfortunately it gets old fast. Besides doing missions for either side, there's not much to do there. However, it definitely didn't deserve all the hate it got, but I suppose the hate and frustration mostly lies in the fact that there are quite a few issues that have been neglected by Maxis for so long, and that was the last straw, just thinking out loud here.

What issues are there with the game? Sims 4 is the only Sims game I ever played, so I don't now how it compares to the older games. I play Sims more casualy and don't go deep into its mechanics. That is something I do with AOE 2 DE.
So you say it is not worth its money? The Stuff pack Nifty Knitting is one dlc I will buy one day because it is so cute.

There are quite a few things, but minor, I haven't bumped into much of them, except that for some reason you can't have pizza delivered. Either the delivery guy never shows up, and if he does, your sim acts like there's something blocking the way when you try to get them accept the delivery. I suppose there are a few issues with building, but I'm not a builder, so I wouldn't know.
No I think it is, I don't regret buying it, but I feel that when I've done all missions for all three parts, I'm kinda done with it, that's all, as Batuu is a vacation spot and not a "world" you can move sims into, and like I said there's not much to do once all missions are done, besides hanging around at the bar and play Sabacc.

I never had that bug. Ok, I'm also not sure if I ever orderd pizza. I always let my Sims cook meals. Soulds like I would buy that Star Wars dlc when it is on discount.

Not everyone experiences it. Some get it, some don't. I'm one of the "lucky" ones who got it. :P I have my Sims cook as well, but it would be nice knowing it was an option. Yeah waiting for a discount may be a good idea.
