Let's talk about black and white movies we love, whether it's old movies made before coloured movies were made, or they were made in black and white on purpose.
One of my favourite black and white movies is Dracula from 1931. Pure classic.
Your turn! :)

5 mand og Rosa -> "5 men and Rosa"
About 5 men who are in the hospital independently from eachother. They actually meet up eachother for the first time there. One of them has a problem. He is being blackmailed by someone and the evidence is in a safe at some bank.
These 5 men plan a Bankjob together using the hospital as their alibi. The bankjob is done with the help from the girlfriend of one of the men.

I'll watch it eventually. :)
No, sorry. Unless someone make a short version where they leave out the coloured parts, which is pretty much 90% of the movie.

La Haine (meaning hate), it’s a French film made in 1995 using black and white effects. It’s about three young men who live in a poor suburb of Paris, and their conflicts within society and particularly within the police.

My favorite B&W movie is "Casablanca". But I also like watching those old Cinema Noir movies from the 40's and 50's. My favorite Cinema Nor movies is "The Big Sleep". It stars Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall. Another great B&W movie is "The Third Man" which stars Joseph Cotton and Orson Welles. Those movies are timeless and fun to watch over and over again.

Hi, I read on the internet that people who saw Psycho in theater for the first time were shocked because it was the first time a movie had killed the main character in middle of the movie (without warning). They didn't see it coming, and it left them uncertain about what would happened next because there was no more main character to follow.
Also, the crazy guy has lots and lots of bird mannerisms.
See Ya! :)

Yeah, Hitchcock really pioneered a lot of filmic techniques.

I love Hitchcock but a ton of his great stuff is in color. Strangers on a Train is great and is in B&W so it belongs here.
