New/good games to recommend

I’m looking on Steam for the lastest games. Anything you guys have played and it’s really good?
I’m looking at Sea of Thieves, Red dead redemption 2, and Civilization 5. They look really cool. I haven’t bought it yet and it’s not cheap to buy all 3. Any advice on good games recently?

RDR2 is insane. Best game I've ever played. Mafia II is cool even if it's older, and III I have not played but I heard it's good too.

I agree with both those games, hours of fun :) and I think both mafia II and III have had hd updates recently

I started playing civilisation VI a few weeks ago and it's fun (a kinda strategy game kinda like risk board game)

Of those three I would totally recommend Red Dead Redemption 2 and maybe even the first one if you wanted to do that, they’re both good games. What other types of games are you into, like first person shooters or just open world?

I’m into all sorts of games as long as it’s good. Also played pubg, apex, CS go, gta, doom etc.

Sea of Thieves for Xbox is really good. I don't know how much the PC version varies from the Xbox version.

I like Dangerous Driving.

If you want a game that is just stupid and requires no thought nor strategy, Super Smash Bros is okay.

I did not like RDR2 much. Partly, I think, because I did not really understand nor relate to the environment in the game.

Edited to add: I also love GTA5. But it is not new or anything.
