Hey everyone :)
Who do you think is the queen of pop music?
In my opinion, in order:
1. Madonna

Christina Aguilera
Have you ever even seen her live? It sounds way better than the actual recording of the song.

I would switch Britney Spears for Lady GaGa. I dislike he music, but she's her style and definitely put a mark on modern pop.

Pop is probably the worst genre to consult me on, second to rap. But here you go.
1. Madonna.
2. Madonna.
3. Madonna.
Lady Gaga honorable mention, just cause I think of modern artists, she's had the biggest influence on the industry. I won't point fingers, but I can count a number of pop artists who were very different pre and post Gaga's emergence. I also think she'll be the one people remember when we think of '10s music. But there isn't a lot of competition...
As a 90s kid who owned a copy of Britney Spears' first two albums, she and all 90s pop is ultra-boring, no exceptions.

I hate Britney Spears with her mindless recycled lyric and sound with a burning passion so I choose Madonna.

I honestly have no idea. Last I heard that Lady Gaga chick was pretty popular. But then again "popular" doesn't really have a very positive connotation for me. I despise most popular musicians. I'll stick with Aurelio Voltaire and RATM, thank you very much.
"I placed my sword upon its heart, and with, a pray, I thrust it in. The dragon fell, upon the ground. Twas then, I heard a whimpering sound. A dragonling to his father clung, who only fought to protect his young...."
That stuff beats "POPOPOKER FACE!!!! :D" sung a million times in a row any day.

Madonna is the queen, if you look at the 1980s especially her cultural impact and commercial/critical success is just phenomenal, no other female can come close to that.
I say Britney is the princess haha. Lady Gaga, unfortunately, is nowhere close. Much as I love her, she just had one massive era, the other two did ok but not queen of pop worthy. She simply hasn't been around long enough, I think Possibly Rihanna or Beyoncé are probably the "newest" popstars who might be considered iconic in that way, but still not on a Madonna level.
My personal of pop would be Demi though <3
