anxitey problems

I really hate what anti depressiants do to me, the side effects, most of them increase suicidal thoguths for me, but my anxitey is really bad is there any medication out there JSUT for anxiety?

Plenty. I take Xanax on a rare occasion for anxiety (though I used to be on it three time a day), and it works great. The only drawbacks to Xanax are that it's hard to go off of, you really have to wean yourself off, and it's not a preventative thing, it's designed to help after the anxiety has already set in. Talk to your doctor, see what they have to say about what drugs you can take instead of anti-depressants.

one of my friends is on valium and another is on ativan and it seems to be working very well for them. my best friend is on xanex but is being taken off and put on something else because the xanex is only making htings worse

Tegan, talk to your doctor. Get the hell ff whatever you're on, and get on something that works for you!
