As the title suggests, this is for all your amazing ideas that you are convinced would make fantastic books or films but can't be arsed to write them!

Perhaps also, if you're a brilliant writer but have no ideas, come along and magpie a few... ask permission first though!

About someone who goes back to the 1920's and somehow gets in trouble with the head of one of the local "families", and they can't do nothing about it because it's their ancestor. xD

I had an idea for a tv show, where there’s a young girl with psychic powers but her visions are very vague, so she’d just be in the middle of a convo or eating lunch or something, space out, and just say something like “Someone is gaining a new responsibility today” and then that’s it. You follow her throughout the rest of the day and there’s somewhere in the background that hints of someone gaining a new responsibility, or whatever other vague vision/interpretation, and you have to figure it out because the girl is never directly involved.

Quite similar to Back to the Future, but not exactly like it

A Civil War drama focused on 2 brothers that are on opposing sides. Switching between them throughout the war, it showcases how they are both struggling in different ways over the war and how they justify their position, even when confronted with the atrocities committed by their own sides during the war. At its roots it is a Shakespearean tragedy as they both start out as wide-eyed idealists and by the end of it all they have is ruins and the realization that all the bloodshed and destruction was for naught.

The title is easy, Brother Against Brother, the execution not so much.

Sounds like an Oscar winner if ever there was one!

My idea belongs to a moving picture on big screen in which Bernie Sanders becomes US President by Gods will and overnight all stars on US flags magically transform into hammer and sickle symbols.

And on the first Sunday after Bernie's elected, the crosses in every church become a hammer and sickle figure during the mass, while the organ plays the International Communist Anthem and a glowing hovering picture of Sanders appears, follwed by a proud, disembodied voice that thunders:

"This is Bernie, my son, who I sandered to you to fulfill the work of my first sent son and who'll install my non-king-kingdom on Earth, and you will all live in harmony for eternity.

And in order to earn that privilege you'll sent all the hatchfund billionaires straight to hell (or end up there yourself).

And Bernie will lockup Donald Trump in his tower, without internet access, so that he can never tweet again. Truly, truly, I say unto you, Paradise will return to Earth, because this is my final will. "

And two days later, all gun owners will find that their guns are gone, so too all sort of arm- and ammunition factories, and no one will ever remember how to make or use guns.

All the generals and soldiers will wear dreadlocks and uniforms with the reggae flag and spend their days at service by chilling out, smoking weed and singing Bob Marley Songs.

While money is gradually disappearing and factories are only producing what people really need, Wallmart markets will turn into non commercial community centers where all folks will having good times 24/7 with all sort of funny activities.

And in the fourth week, President Bernie makes a speech when suddenly a halo in the shape of a sickle appears above him and he suddenly holds Thor's hammer in his left fist, while the spirit of Stan Lee appears next to him and says: "This is what your Daddy is giving you for your everlasting reign on Earth."

And that's it, folks. Have fun, live eternal and prosper.

Amen.

I actually have written a story about two teenagers who go missing in a small town. It turns out that they disappeared into a parallel world from which the main character of the story is originally from (and only realizes at the end). The twist ending would blow minds. :D I always thought it could make a good movie.

A typical nuclear family of (Irish) vampires move into an English cul de sac neighbourhood to try and live a peaceful, vegan life (ie: sopping wet uncooked steaks for dinner, animal blood as a substitute for morning OJ and coffee), as a regular part of the community, but the matriarchs dark impulses soon begin to threaten their new way of life.

It would be a Horror comedy, a proper one. On one end, a gothic horror, on the other, a psychological satire.

The problem? If it was written by me it would end up as a hot mess.
