View Full Version : Does comparing penis sizes not create weird dynamics?

Considering the sheer volume of posts i've seen where people claim to be comparing penis sizes with their friends of a fairly regular basis, i thought i'd ask a question directed at all those people.
I would imagine that finding out you are bigger than your friend 'down there' or, indeed, he is bigger than you, would create a weird and awkward power dynamic between the two of you. But maybe i'm wrong.
So does it or does it not?

In my experience no because nether of us really cared who was bigger and who was smaller but maybe some people may get awkward about it

it’s not a problem to me but some boys might be different. It depends on the person.

I've compared and no it's not weird or changed the way we hang out I guess we are just horny and curious I think it made us feel better as none of us had a 10" like porn stars we were all within 2" of each other which

Hasn't changed anything between me and my friends. I'm the smallest but also the only uncut one. They think it's cool I have a foreskin so being smaller doesn't matter.

To quote Black Widow ... "oh no no no, that's not a question I need answered."

Never was a problem with us. When we started showering in 6tb grade we would talk about who had what. Guess you can see what a girl has for tits, only see what guys got when pants are down

I don't think in my case I ever gave it a lot of thought. I think we all experience penis envy at some time or other. It's just a fact of nature that some guys will be bigger than you and some smaller. I just love all penis' and there cool shapes and sizes.

I compared with some of my friends mostly when I was younger, prepubescent and starting puberty. I never had a problem or awkward situation with sizes. For the most part, my friend then and I were approximately the same size. When we compared back then, we were more interested in who was getting his pubes first than who had the biggest dick.

I used to compare with a few friends, we were usually the same size, but if someone was bigger it wasn't a big deal.

Same with me

Never found it awkward myself but I was usually the biggest lol. Never created a weird vibe in the group guess the smallest guy would maybe be a bit more quiet but they get over it especially since that was mostly during puberty so they could grow. Any more recent ones feel like there’s a lot less judgement and comparing like it’s a competition it’s more for curiosity

I've never found it to create a weird vibe. I think it actually gets rid of some of the awkwardness at times such as in the lockerroom, sleepovers, or changing at the pool. Once you see a friend naked, there is no reason to be embarrassed.

Not weird at all. In fact the friend I compared with was usually quite coy about nudity, where as now he isn't as self conscious.
It was also a bit of a "my dick is a bigger" bet and I won, after he saw it, it really just went "Oh so you are, damn we are both big though" and carried on.

My friends and me used to compare all the time at sleepovers but that was when I was like 12 and honestly no one was really that different. Now when I see friends naked it's at school or changing but it's not "comparing" since everyone's soft. I think like actually comparing hard now wouldn't be awkward for me but it would certainly be awkward for someone in the group probably. Not really sure how a situation would come up like that for me now.

I guess it just depends on the person. Not compared with anyone but it could make things awkward between some guys.

I've never done it but I would think the most awkward bit would be suggesting it in the first place.

It doesn't create a weird dynamic for me. I'm super curious about how big certain boys are and if a friend has a bigger one than me it's not a big deal. But I've never seen a super long one, so I guess if they were like 8 or 9 inches I'd have a stronger reaction. The only situation where I might feel weird or envious is if a girl I slept with was now with someone else and I found out her new boy had a big dick. I'd probably wonder if the sex was better with him than with me. But even then it would be more curious than jealous. I'd want to ask her what it was like to have a big one inside her.

We haven't exactly compared but I have seen a few friends naked like in the shower at sports or at the swimming pool
Most of my friends started to grow and get pubes before me, but it didn't change anything. My best friend started to grow down there at 12, me more at like 14+ he's still my best friend and we still hang out together and go sleep to each other :P
Though at the time I did think 'lucky them' XD

Growing up the only time I experienced a group
of guys including myself flaunting our boy manhood
was after soccer practice. Most of us were about the
same size other than the various up down to the left
right curves. There was this one little dude-a junior
varsity who surely packed about 8 inches and was
self conscious about his size. He said he was tired
of the other guys giving him the "shaft"-he thought.
Most of the time he was the talk of the locker room.
Why is it these small guys cant get it into their pants
and the hunky guys cant pull it out? Just a thought.
I had no problems if one of my buddies had an extra
inch to work.

Ha ha yes, I meant to each other's house lol
He is my best friend not my boy friend. My bf is someone else :P

That hasn't been the case in my experiences. Usually I'm envious if a guy is bigger but not in a bad way. I don't want to say more because I'm new and I don't know how much detail is appropriate.

Like another poster, most of my comparing was right at the start of puberty and we were all pretty pathetic down there at that point lol. But i've compared more recently with a small number of friends and i do think it changes the dynamics. I'm bigger than they are which surprised me and them, so I'm not gonna lie it changed my confidence level.
My brother and I sort of compare since we have the same room, but it's hard to say because i'm older and more developed in general so i think the dynamic has more to do with just dick size.

It didn’t for me personally. But with my younger brother being bigger than me, he’ll make wisecracks all the time so in that sense it has changed the dynamic because where he otherwise wouldn’t have anything to hold over me, he has managed to make size matter to me more than it originally did just because of all his razzing.

My step brother and I have compared our erect sizes with each other and I am bigger, but it hasn’t changed things with us. We still see each other naked and it hasn’t really affected anything. We just know what we both have and are fine with it.
