I am Matthew, I am 15 years old, I have autism and struggle with it a lot, I learn Russian but I take it pretty seriously, since it’s hard for me to do things that require a lot of hard work with autism, and I know learning the language is my only chance of success in a world where there is not a lot of autistic people and the majority do not have autism, therefore I plan to study abroad Russian in 2021 after Coronavirus ends.
I am also from Las Vegas, my mom’s family is Mexican, my dad’s family is not and is American, but most of my mom’s family lives in this city and most of my dad’s in another city far from mine.
I hope I will succeed with my goal as it is the only thing I have been good at despite my disabilities, I know the language I am going for is hard work, and being an autistic person, I won’t give up my chance to be successful in a society where autistic people are the minority.
