I have never had a wet dream in my life and I am 21. I started masturbating regularly at 10 and have been doing that or having regular sex since. That will prevent you from having wet dreams in most cases. I would say that if you want to experience a wet dream that you will have to lay off masturbating until you have one. I have no idea how long that it will take.

I am another who has never had one. Depending on where you live, some sex-ed can give you the impression that they are a development milestone but really starting to ejaculate is the development milestone, so you can tick that one off whether your first ejaculate from a wet dream or from masturbating.

As has been mentioned, ejaculating some other way, for example from masturbation and then later from sex, does seem to make them less likely but there are enough unusual experiences for it not to be a simple case of getting one once everything is full and needing to make some space.
