Really you can keep it anywhere. After a while it will end of being crusty and dry, as expected. However, if your parents find it and question it just say you use it as a rag to blow your nose on. :) As for hiding it, maybe under your bed? In your closet? Places your parents might not check honestly. Or if you have any jars or containers in your room that aren't see thru then that might work! Hope this helps.

I always prepare a handkerchief. Then I just dump my load into it and make it look like a normal towel on my table. Then throw it into the washing machine with my dirty clothes.
