Hi guys, I'm afraid of coming out gay to my school. My sister likes girls and my dad knows. But I'm just afraid of coming out to my school because I don't anyone judging me and I will loose a lot of friends ��. I'm only in 7th grade I have been closeted for about a 1 year. I think I should wait intill high school or college? What do you think? Thanks for the support

I say wait until your actually ready, because if you just rush into it you may regret it.

What's the point? I say don't let your sexuality define you. What does it matter if the people at school know? If you think it could have negative effects then don't do it.

Do what you think is better, although if you fall out with them because you came out they aren't actually your friends in the first place. Although make sure you're sure as these have said because your signature says "Bi?!? Gay?!?" which means you're still questioning it I guess. Come out as bi first or something and only when you're sure it's safe, that's what I did :kitty:

There's no need to hurry into labeling yourself. Going by your sig it looks to me that you're still questioning your sexuality. I think it would be a good idea to wait until you get older and are sure that you're Bi or Gay before coming out.

Hi there Logan! I think the decision is really up to you. If you feel the need to come out right now then you should be comfortable with yourself and not care what others think. :) Speaking as someone who has come out and my friends and family knows, it's hard because you are afraid you will lose your friends. The best response i can say to that, is they aren't really good friends if they won't accept you for who you are. It's a risk you'll have to be willing to take when you come out publicly. The most important thing to remember before you come out, is you should be 100% comfortable and accept yourself before you do. Always glad to give advice on coming out if you need it!

I would say high school, kids there are soooo much more mature about this stuff, I would NEVER come out during middle school
