My favorite movie that was shown before my parents were born is "Casablanca" released in 1942 starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman.

Note: The title should read: Name Your Favorite MOVIE That Was Shown Before Your Parents Were Born.

Another vote for The Sound of Music. I've also enjoyed watching The Time Machine, made in 1960, from an H.G. Wells novel about a terrifying future for our world.

The Time Machine is awesome. :D The remake from 2002 starring Guy Pearce wasn't too bad either, but it's no match for the 1960 classic. :)

Film: Rosemary’s Baby (From 1968) was released two years before my mothers birth; still unconquered in the realm of occult horror.

TV: The Twilight Zone (1959-1963); Dark Shadows is also awesome but ended in 71’ so sorry Barnabas.
