I actually did some research into this one since it's a common question on here. The reason you may feel 'guilty' or 'weird' after masturbating is because as soon as you ejaculate, your brain shuts off all hormones in the sexual department, leaving you with the thought of maybe what you just did is not right in a way. It's perfectly normal. :)

You are right some do teach that it is wrong. I dont go often, maybe 2-3 times a year, but I have never heard the new priest mention anything about it. And yes, there are a great deal of things they say that I do not agree with. I just ignore those and carry on.
