Finally told my parents

So for a few weeks now I have been dealing with me having my first sexual encounter with a girl. It was pretty important to me and I deffo know that I am bisexual. In my family we are totally open and honest about everything, and no matter what it is we are encouraged to talk about it, which is really awesome.

So last night I plucked up the courage to sit my mum and dad down and I told them everything. They wanted to know the details and how I was feeling emotionally and were just so amazing and supportive. Has anyone else had similar experiences? Where your parents just astound you with how loving they can be?

That's so awesome that they accept that. Idk if my family would accept the fact that I like girls. I'm bisexual and had my first girl-girl encounter when I was 12.

I came out to my parents as gay a while back, and they were really accepting. I'm able to talk to them about nearly anything without feeling awkward.

I think this is excellent that they are supportive and encourage you to tell them anything without having a harsh opinion! :) You are very lucky. Personally my parents are the same way however i'm just not courageous enough to tell them something like having a sexual encounter. Props to you, Bry! :)
