I am upgrading from a 550 Ti Graphics card, and I want to know what you guys think is the best value for my money (Please between 100-150 dollars. Max 170) as an upgrade from a 550.
Thanks.

I have the 650 ti. Runs modded minecraft at about 300 fps, about 150 dollars some places!

Hope this helps. :D
Some of the prices are wrong, though that's a great chart for performance/price ratio.
For your price range, I would recommend an nVidia GTX 750ti or a Radeon HD 7850. Both are around the higher margin of that price range, though are great performance for the price.
Edit: 7850 is extremely hard to find in stock due to it's great performance with crypto currency mining. If you can score yourself one however, they go for as low as ~110-120 rather than ~130-160 for the 750ti.

R9 270 is a 7870 just renamed
and the 7850 is just a slightly slower 7870.
Or you could try looking through some of the benchmarks here and getting the best card you can.But money wise 7850-7870/R9 270 is the best value for money.

I would personally go GTX 750 Ti for that budget, but I prefer NVIDIA over AMD, so a 7870 is a good option too.

Go to hwcompare.com and use it to find what the best is for the price.

This would probably be your best bet in that case. Wasn't aware 270s for for that cheap, they're ~$230-$250+ in Australia.

I would probably go with a 750 Ti, but if you could push $250, go with a 760.

We normally pay a extra 100-200$ compared to the US and other Countries when it comes to pc Parts. My GTX 780 cost 200$ more than it does in the US.
And why are people Recommending 750ti it has no real place in the current market.A second hand GTX 660 or brand new R9 270 or 7850/7870 can be had
for same price if not cheaper.

Not sure about $200 more, it's usually US price+postage+~$20-30 from PC Case Gear. If you shop smart you can sometimes find even cheaper. For example, a 760 is currently $249 from PC Case gear, instead of the usual ~$300.

You should link OP to places with 660's for that price, I don't know of any websites that match that price. I found the GTX 750 Ti for $160, and the 660 and R9 280 for a bit over $200. Considering OP's budget, the GTX Ti fits perfectly.

That's because PC Case Gear are the cheapest and that's a limited time offer.
But if you compare prices with AU and US for pc parts it can range from 50-200$ its kinda silly but oh well.

I've never seen it anywhere near that amount except with certain SSDs. Other than this, you can usually get a similar model (even the same at times) for the same price if you have the time to wait for specials or to shop around.
