Yeah asking for tips or the giving of tips is not allowed, so I will say this:

In my experience as long as people know how to masturbate then all that is needed is as ninja789 said is mental stimulation. Some people watch porn or otherwise imagine a sexually exciting situation. Other than that people tend to find that when they are relaxed and as stress free as possible, they get the best results from masturbation. So those who are stressed about something (this can be anything they are worried about, from coursework due in tomorrow to mother walking through the door any minute) will be less likely to have optimum results.
