I just trimmed my pubic hair for the first time and the result is good in terms of appearance but it seems that the tips of my pubic hairs are now sharp as a razor.
How do I go about stopping that?

Not easy to not have it like that after shaving, maybe a shower will help but trimmed hairs tend to be sharper :/

Shower, soap and conditioner or shampoo. It may not take care of all the priclyness, but it MAY reduce it. That's what helps me, at least. Combing helps as well, depending on the length of your pubes. Good luck!

Conditioner will help. Also it might just be the texture of your pubes

Any idea on how long they take to grow back (average)?

Everybody's time is different. How short did u make it? Can u see your see the hair follicles on your pubis? If you can or almost can't it on average it may take 2-3 weeks. It all depends on how short it is trimmed. Did u have an idea of what you wanted it to look like, before u began trimming?

I can't see the follicles. Looks like an uncomfortable 2-3 weeks is approaching.

Ok if you can see the follicles, then that means that you are not bare. So it may only take a week or two, like I said before it is hard to predict, bro. When I trim it takes 2 weeks or so, before it's bushy again.
Good luck!

To me it sounds like you trimmed them too short.
I trimmed mine down to ~1-2mm once and had the same itchy sensation.
Now 4mm is the length of my choice. It looks tidy and my pubes are still soft enough to be comfy.

That's what I used to do for the same reasons. ;)

I would say that in the future that it's best that you trim your pubes with an electric razor such as a beard trimmer so that you're not going all the way down to the base when you're trimming your pubes. If you shave your pubes down to the root, then for the first week or two they will come back pretty prickly.
I agree with the others above that your best bet is to use some conditioner or even a shampoo to soften the hairs that are coming in. Using cream or a lotion down there will go a long way to easing irritation.
As for how long it would take for pubes to grow back, everything depends on how hairy you are and how long you have had body hair in the first place. Generally speaking, it should take around a month for pubes to grow back unless you're really hairless which means it might take around two months in that case.

Thank you, I will consider attempting that.
