puberty updates to parents

I have a friend who told me he tells his parents what puberty changes are happening to him like first pubic hair, first pit hair and first wet dream. I do not do this but was wondering if others tell their parents or friends about their changes.

I have never discussed my puberty changes with my parents. However my dad has seen my changes as I grew up as we have always changed and showered at the beach and pool together. So in a way I guess I have shown him. I have never had a wet dream though.

The only times I have talked to my parents about health or puberty issues are when I need information or I have a health question or problem. Otherwise, I keep everything to myself.

Most changes during puberty can be seen (hair growth, growth in general, voice change
(heard), maybe acne, etc.). So parents will know without talking about it. They can also figure out likely that their son has grown pubes and is likely jerking off. So it doesn't seem necessary to get updates from the son.

No, never gave them updates, never really wanted to discuss it much with them lol I think they could pretty much figure out what was going on... I mean my mom did comment when I started getting hairy legs and pit hair when I wore a tank top
