I know at some point during puberty you shave your fuzz on your face or maybe shave down there. I wanted to know did you buy UR own razor or did U get one as a gift?
How old were the 1st time U shaved UR face?
Did U have chin fuzz or a mustache fuzz?
What brand or type do U use? :yeah:

I bought them myself when I was 16 and finally decided to get rid of the fuzz. I recently switched to a metal safety razor though. You change the razor blades themselves in it and it's double-sided.

I buy my own. For my face I use Gillette and for my pubes I use a women's Venus razor.

With almost 13 I asked my parents for shaving stuff and they got me shaving gel and a razor no questions asked. Not sure what brand it was but they aren't very different.

Just before I turned 14 my mom came to me with a razor and shave cream and told me that I needed to start shaving. I shaved about once a week and gradually had to increase shaving. By the time I was 15 I could grow a full beard and did so the summer between 15-16.

I started shaving my face when I
was 16. I have an electric groomer
and I used disposable razors.

Use Gillette, started with fuzz on face at 14, leave pubes alone. Still hate it when I gig my face. You know when it happens, and wait for the blood

Don’t need one yet but I think you have to be 18 to buy one myself, would have to get my parents to get me one when needed

Do you prefer the shave of a safety razor, or did you switch because of cost?

Think it’s to stop people using them as weapons

So over 18 its OK not to expect it to be used as a weapon?
Anything goes over here.

We're talking about disposable razors, or safety razors, not straight razor blades like the barbers used to use, right????

I've never heard of any country doing that.

Can people under 18 purchase a pocket knife or a kitchen knife?

Ehh. It's easier to cut yourself with it but I like the level of control it gives and the heavy metal handle feels nice. Mainly the cost though - my current one was about $80 but you can get like 50 blades for about $20 online.

I have gone this route myself. There are a lot of razors out there, but while the cartridge razors seem convenient, they are very expensive and only give a GOOD shave before they dull or get clogged. Just google "wet shaving" and you will know what I mean. I got a qshave for my birthday last year and it a lifesaver.

I hate to sound ethno-centric, but man that's weird. You can't buy scissors in England until you're 18?

What's the expression that's used derisively about the British safety department?

Update: Elfin safety committee.

$80 is a lot of money for a handle, but you're right; a guy, my dad's age, so he shaves everyday, recently told me he uses that and his box of blades lasted him over a year.

otoh, Gilette Mach3, a USA brand and model of razor, sells blades for $2-3 each. You usually can get the handle free.

It's a much nicer handle though. Stainless steel and chrome.

It sounds nice. If you're into shaving, like really geekly into it, there are a couple of shaving forums.
