I visited the local used book store and they had a number of Stephen King books and here is what I came home with....

Cell
Misery
Bag of Bones
Thinner
The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon

That's a nice haul! :) Which one should I start with??

Can’t recommend any of those because I haven’t read any of them. That’s a whole lot of reading though

It was disturbing...... that said, it was good Stephen King! A real page turner. And one of his shorter reads, comparably speaking hahaa. I wanna check out the movie. :)

What was the last King book you read?

Yup lol, his longest book..(aside from the revised one that shall not be named) it feels like a first draft most of the time, but its still brilliant

btw if you have Netflix, check out I am Not Okay With This. It stars Beverly and Stanley from IT! I forget their actual names. But yeah, not exactly horror, but think Carrie with some comedic elements thrown in. :) Eight eps at 20 or so min each, so easy to binge.

Scary stuff usually from him
Though some aren’t all supernatural spooky, that movie Stand by me is based on one his stories and it’s brilliant
But the killer demon clown stuff I can’t do

I'm really not a fan of Stephen King's novel or essays. But I have read several. The novel I liked the best is "The Shawshank Redemption". Others were "the Shining". "Christine", :Cujo", "Pet Sematary" and "The Langoliers".
