When you use a cup for sports do you prefer a jock strap or compression shorts with a cup pocket? and why?

When I played soccer we only wore a cup.
Now I see that some guys wear some sort
of compression short and if they don't wear
a cup then they r asking for pain.

Definitely wear a jock if you use the cup. it will hold it in place a lot better. For me I wear a reg. supporter jock for running, gym and basketball and am use to them. Occasionally compression shorts.

I have never worn a cup. If I did i think I would prefer compression shorts. I don't like jock straps.

A jock is way cooler to than wearing compression. Another benefit especially with running sports football and soccer.

A jock holds the cup better. One kick in the balls with a soccer ball convinced me to wear a cup with a jock. I think compression shorts are better for sliding in baseball.

Oh yea same here with a cup. The compression never seem to fit me good enough , end up legs too tight and the cup pouch not snug enough. Also wear reg , jock for gym and basketball.

yea I always prefer to wear a jockstrap and sometimes in winter with compression shorts over them. Actually very comfortable
