How is it that when you have a birthday your happy cause you get treated special? But at same time your not a little boy anymore. But then the night after your friends and family go home you get ready for bed and look at your puberty driven nude body and decide to shave all your pubes to look younger?

NOOOOOO!!!!! DON'T DO IT!!!! Let your young pubes grow!!!!
I remember feeling awkward when I started growing hair down there and wondered WHY it had to grow down there??? But be proud of your puberty!! Are you going to try to have your voice not change either? Or keep you erections just 3" long?? Be proud of your genitalia!!

I totally understand, if all boys did that, I guess mother nature would be scared up.

I will talk to my twin and tell what I did, then stop shaving.

I understand

I don't think there is anything wrong with shaving, it's just that you don't need to be shy about being in puberty. I shave because I like how it looks and it's convenient for swimming etc.

Do whatever you want with your body, it's your choice. I don't shave as often now because I'm pretty naturally hairy and it looks weirder shaved than not but if you prefer shaved/need to be shaved for swimming etc go for it

What does shaving ur pubes have anything
to do with swimming?:what:

I don't see why a young boy just starting
puberty who is hairless-once gets his pubes
then goes to shave them off. Ur turning into
a man why want to stay like a bald eagle.
That also goes for shaving ur happy trail and
legs. Unless u r a swimmer and feel like its
going to b an advantage to ur performance
I don't get y anyone would do it. I would say
trimming ur pits and pubes is better than
nothing. I would advise not to clean shave.

I am doing it cause my twin did not start puberty when I did, so I shaved until he started getting pubes.

That's all and if I got you thinking this just happened, it was about 1 year ago.

A lot of swimmers shave their pubes. Especially the swimmers on teams.

Why shave pubes if u a swimmer, dont the speedos cover your penis and balls?

I shaved only not to hurt my brothers feelings,

And I turned 14.

I like the feeling and look of no pubes, back then. I dont shave now anymore.

I don't like the shaven look on pubes. Yes you look like a little boy again and I find that thought sick.

I only shaved a couple times just to try it. I'm mostly natural tho.

I'm curious as to why?
And, are you talking about you can't stand your own pubes, or pubic hair in general?
(I figure, God put it down there for a reason, and didn't have it start growing down there until puberty. So I figure there is some reason for it.)

I don’t like any pubes.
Just personal preference I guess

I'm happy cuz it's my birthday. And I just jerk off and don't shave my pubes. Easy as pie

I know what you mean. I don't like them either. Clean shaved looks and feels so much better.

I just trim mine every now and then, mostly because they sometimes can get stuck in uncomfortable places if I let them grow out too much. I tend to trim my pits more often though because I like the look better.

As I've said before, we spend years longing to reach puberty and adulthood.

So I really can't understand boys who want to get rid of one of the most important signs that we're getting there!

However, I know we're all individuals and have our own ideas about shaving our pubes. I've just given my own personal opinion.

People argue about whether or not you should shave them. Men shave their beards, women shave their pits, some people shave their heads. So then why shouldn’t we shave our pubes.

What I was trying to say was....
I did not want to admit I was growing up, so any signs of puberty I got rid of...
But now that I am 14 I am accepting the fact that puberty is part of growing up and I really dont mind my pubes.

It's kinda cool.

Thanks for all the kind words and advice.

Obviously you can do as you wish but I do think it is a mistake to try to cling to the past rather than embrace the future.

bro there's nothing wrong with shaving, if you don't like it then don't do it again.

It is up to you. If you want to shave your pubes do it.
I started shaving at 13, and do not regret it.
