Ok,
Why aren't we talking about JOKER yet??
I just saw it on Monday and I was SO impressed. I thought it was incredible. It's a film one definitely needs to see twice or more. But I felt it was brilliant; deserving of all the accolades.

We watched it last night. I thought it was pretty good. I like movies where it unclear what is real, and what is not.

Good movie. I saw it when it first came out in the theaters.

It was interesting to find out the background of his character, which I always just considered just a means of making more stories for the Batman and Robin series.
Sometimes prequels are lame, like sequels, but this one was good. It not only filled in details of his relationship to Batman, but had a lot of real life human dynamics in it. Marginalizing people who don't fit in, mental illness, whether the mental illness is a matter of nature or nurture, or a nature origin triggered by nurture.

And no gratuitous violence.

My favorite actor who played The Joker is Jack Nicholson, followed next by Heath Ledger.
