At my new school, it's a private school and there's a requirement to have a showers. I am not used to it yet. It's kind of strange to me especially since the locker room isn't big and showers are all opened, there's no separate showers boxed off, everyone showers together. When we change I have had some guys bare butt 3 feet in front of me just because it's so cramped. The jock kids are the ones who showered first and my first time in the locker room, they were messing around comparing sizes but it seemed so normal to them that it wasn't a big deal. Do you have locker rooms like this at your school?

We legit had like 5 mins to get back into uniforms and get to our next class at school so showers were a pipe dream. Seems much more popular in the US however

I don't have to shower after gym. Wouldn't make a difference to me though

Yes, we are all required to change and shower naked at our school. Coaches make sure we all take our showers.
You will get used to the nudity in a few days. We all have the same parts just different sizes.

In junior high we were required to shower and the were all open showers with no privacy. In high school it's optional for us but they're still communal showers.

I think it's a rule to shower, but it's not a problem cause no one doesn't do it.

Our locker room and shower areas are both wide open areas since middle school, really no one pays any attention because you get used to it pretty quickly. The gym teachers and coaches are present to make sure that everyone takes a shower, there's really no way to avoid it.

we have to shower, and both the changing area and actual shower is kind of small for all the boys in there at the same time. Bump into another boy all the time trying to get in and out of the shower, change area a little bigger but not a lot. I'm told the high school locker room and showers are bigger.

We have showers but we never use them as they're always locked. Occasionally, if we've just had rugby which we do in the winter, we're allowed to stand under them to get warm but not many do.

Both the High School and the Middle schools have one big showers, while they are optional, after PE/Sports. The school supplies towels for Showers, and we have enough time to take showers after PE, If u show up for your next class smelling like u r still in gym, The teacher will send you to the nurse. She will tell you why its important to shower after PE, And send you to take a shower, Being watch by a teacher coach or someone.

When I was in high school it was encouraged
to shower after PE especially if u didn't want to
stink for the rest of the day. It wasn't mandatory
tho but after any sport it was. U shower naked.
At first it is uncomfortable but after a few times
it just becomes normal. U can shower facing the
wall and when walking back to the lockers just
cup ur junk until u feel more comfortable. The
best thing to do is follow whatever the other
guys r doing to not feel out of place.

They only give us 4-5 minutes to get dressed after gym so we don't have time to shower or get into trouble. We do shower after our after school sports stuff. And make trouble :D

Grade school, they made us shower together, with the showers all open. We got used to it early on. High school, however, it was not required.

Oh yea same, not required but if your into sports you definitely get use to showering and it really becomes no big deal. Dressed out for sports anyway , why would you want to smell like sweat.

We were required to shower too in my school. The locker room and shower environment was very similar to what you described too. It was never any big deal to me and I never remember it seeming to bother anyone else.

We are free to see if we take a shower after the sport or not.
even with me in school, all showers are open and no privacy.
but we girls have no secrets from each other and do not synonymous tail comparison.

At school we never had the time for taking a shower, barely had the time to get changed before needing to be in our next class

No showering in P.E. here, except during the swimming unit, but even then we showered in our bathing suits. I love the prudery here. Showering naked in front of classmates seems awful.

Yeah we have open changing and shower rooms too and I guess it's a bit odd but I got used to it pretty quickly. It wasn't mandatory for normal PE until 8th grade though but it was encouraged, especially after swimming! So we all had time to get comfortable with it.

Open changing rooms but most of us keep our boxes on for P.E. anyway. Cubicle showers with a plastic curtain often missing. No one showers after general P.E. but maybe after team games but i don' t know.
Lots of deodorant spay instead. We only get a few minutes to change at the end of the lesson anyway.

My school is an older school. The locker room has showers in the back, but as far as I know no one goes back there. We just have to change between or street clothes and PE uniforms. If showers were required or encouraged, it would be a little awkward at first but like others have said, I think I would get used to it after a few days. At home up until I was 13, my parents used to see me naked almost everyday when I going to or from the bathroom to shower, but after that they've rarely seen me naked and only a few of my friends have seen me naked. But if my parents did see my naked now I wouldn't care. I don't really care if my friends see me naked.

We don’t have times to shower at our school but the showers are separate to the changing area

It is actually not rule to shower but it still expected as courtesy to everyone else so that you dont stink. its done in one kinda big open locker room and showering is done naked. We naturally have sauna too.

We have open showers, open changing area but stalls for the washroom with a door leading to the washroom in a separate room. Also separate rooms for the shower and changing area but no door

Ours are required and the same. I've been in the same school system since 3rd grade, and since 5th grade they made us shower after gym together. It's just a big open room with a bunch of naked kids. In high school they make us shower, and its the same, open.

Yes we are required to shower after pe class.
The area is kinda small for the amount of people. The lockers sre small and right next to each other and the showers are in an open room. We are given just enough time to come in from the field, strip, shower and redress. Not very much time to mess around. Yes due to the small area your pretty close to each other butt naked when striping n dressing

In my school we have to shower after PE. Our locker room is large but with communal showers going the full length of the shower room. We only have 10 minutes to take a quick shower and get dressed. The showers are monitored by a couch. We don't have any time to compare or mess around. If we take too long in the showers we get yelled at by the coaches. The only "comparing" is done by getting quick stares or glances at another guy's penis.

At our school, showers were not required except for the swimming unit.
The showers are open and don’t give us a lot of privacy really. Some of us showered with our swimsuits on and some of us showered naked. I was one of the people who showered naked, it just makes more sense to do so and I’m used to being seen anyway.

We shower after PE, you learn to do strip, hair up, wash (well fast rinse) and for dry off and dress and go. All but if after swimming. The funny thing is we have some showers with like a 1\2 cover that come to your knees. To me it like why bother, just do what you have to and go.

At my school there is one locker room for 9th and 10th graders and another for 11th and 12th graders and the two are separated by the shower room. Ours are a little different because there a polls with about five shower heads on each poll so you are really close to other guys. I am not sure if it’s a rule or not but everybody showers. A few guys shower in their underwear at first but they got made fun of so they switched and got naked like everyone else. The only annoying thing is there no hooks to hang towels so people either throw their towel on the floor or walk to the showers naked.
Same goes for after sports practice or a game. So sometimes two showers in one day. Like the others said after a few days you get used to it.
