Ok so i haven't masturbated for a long long time (a few years ago i realised i was doing it way too much and decided to stop) but recently i decided to try again and nothing is happening, i can't get it hard and i can't reach orgasm, i don't know what the reason is but i am not getting any pleasure from trying to masturbate at all

Do you still get random boners and morning wood? It could be a mental block, mind over matter so to speak. You may have convinced yourself that masturbation is so bad that your mind won't let you get an erection or have any pleasurable feeling. If this continues you may need counseling or see your doctor for some answers.

Take up running or do strenuous
activities like working out in a gym
to get the blood flowing at the right
time to ur penis to get hard. It could
also b nerves or if u have some kind
of medical prob. If it continues heed
Jamie_n5 above what he advises.

Another possible explanation is that your libido is just dead. If you've not jerked off in a couple years, your body may just not feel the need for sexual gratification in the same way and so not react to your attempts to get off. I'd suggest speaking to your doctor about it and see if there was any way of trying to kick-start your sexual drive again.

That’s crazy I can’t imagine not masturbating for a few years. I can’t go without masturbating more than a few days. Maybe I have the problem.

It has occurred to me before that masturbating so much that it takes up far too much of one's time may not be so much a case of being "too horny" as being too little interested in the other things in life, i.e. being depressed.
So from that I wonder if you have been put on anti-depressant medication. Some of those, SSRIs, I think, can inhibit arousal and orgasm.

I agree with the answers above that seem wise to me. Do like ska8er suggests. Watch porn or things that should make you excited, and tell us how it goes.

I would ask if you had wet dreams while you took a break from masturbation? If you have, then there's obviously no physical problem with your "plumbing". I would agree with Jamie that it might be something more mental.
I would also agree with others to maybe look at porn or something that will excite you. Maybe you just have to be in the mood.
