I don't think there is anything dirty about cum but that doesn't mean I want to go around smelling of it or have obvious wet spots or marks on my clothes which is what would happen if I put my shirt on having not bothered to wipe off my chest/belly. Just before sleeping I usually wipe up and I certainly don't aim for the sheets. I'm not fastidious, though. When it has gone over my shoulder and hit the pillow I have just turned the pillow over. It will wash out of the pillow cover next time it is washed. With a roommate at college, it can be very hard to get enough privacy to jerk off.
