Spider-man out of the MCU

Apparently Disney wanted more more money... from 5 percent to 50-50 .... and Sony was like nah. And now Spider-man is out of the MCU!! (https://www.ign.com/articles/2019/08/20/breaking-spider-man-out-of-the-mcu-marvel-sony-cant-reach-deal) This makes me sad!!!

I really like Tom Holland as Spiderman too. And him being in the Avengers movies has been really good. I guess people are just greedy.

Not a huge spiderman fan but this is still kinda stupid imo. They just got him into marvel and now he's out. Without ironman and Capt America, the movies will have a steep road to climb to be good.

I've heard that Disney was kind of getting the shaft on their older deal, not getting most of the profit but doing more of the work. I don't think there's really a good guy here, though. Both companies are essentially jeoparadizing artistic integrity for the sake of profit.

Yeah, the old deal was crap for Disney, so I can see why they wanted more, but holding out for a 50/50 split? Sony were never going to agree to that.

It's a shame, because I really wanted to see where they were going to take the story

Because the government would block it as it would be a monopoly.
I am personally happy for sony standing up against Disney (mega giant). I love Tom Holland as much as the next person so I really don't care that much since he will stil lbe playing spiderman
