Hmm not sure, but in the case of sexual development, as odd as this sounds perhaps there’s a genetic component that could be inherited from either X chromosome from either mom OR dad.

I believe sex drive is inherited too, but also hormonal factors your exposed to in the womb also blueprint many aspects of development sexually and in other areas of health too which would be environmental, like pollution a pregnant mom is exposed to or her diet or even psychological factors.


After birth there’s definitely a subjective mental predisposition which affects the enjoyment of sexual physical sensations. I think there’s a strong placebo effect upon the orgasm phenomena.

But certainly there have been links to scientific studies looking at the distance between the clitoris and were the opening of the vagina begins in correlation toward how some women more easily experience vaginal orgasm rather than others.


But unfortunately VT rules limit this discussion as it MUST for some little overlap go into masturbation or physical stimulation techniques both done solo or with a trusted sexually knowledgeable lover.

I have read that one physical factor is muscular strength of the kegel muscles, and another is mental where some women back off for emotive shame or fear, and the women who can squirt have less mental inhibitors, so the sexual stimulation is likely accepted by themselves to keep going, whereas those who rev the engines down for fear of peeing or having a bad partner reaction, or just a mess to clean up, psych themselves out of the experience.

We also have to keep in mind that our community comes from all different parts of the world with differing views on what is fair game to discuss about the body, development, and sexual development.

So what is prudish or pervy to ask for some, might not be for others.

I’ve always drawn the line at, is this question advancing some kind of legitimate knowledge in the human condition beyond the titilation potential of the subject matter.

To be honest a lot of us don’t know because until Masters & Johnson, sexual research and the anatomy and link to neurology and psychology is very new and research in this field isn’t even 100 years old yet; not really.

Personally I think I paid more attention to the 'family discussion' side of things rather than the genetic issue. Living in a small seaside town as I do (near Brighton) people here are quite reserved about such matters, particularly my wider family.

I think there is a hereditary aspect to it, I mean think of our mouths right? Everyone has a different salivating rate, some suffer from dry mouth. But the rate of salivation is also effected by contextual environmental situations such as the term “mouth watering” if you anticipate or smell or see (or all 3) a favorite food. If you think about it doesn’t sexual appetites have a lot of overlap here?

There was one study that identified that the liquid from female ejaculation does come from the bladder but it’s chemical composition is different from normal urine and it’s not pee, so something shifts gears during maximum hot and heavy moments, and the glands do something different.
