16. I basically stopped getting them after I started taking anti-depressants about 4 months ago... or the fact that I only sleep for 3 hours a day... idk.

It depends on the day for me days were I wake up to an alarm clock I usually won't but days were i wake up when my body wants me to I usually do and they are really nice. :)

Yeah, I get them every other day or so. I don't like em in the morning lol When I do, though, it seems to be harder than any other time, so my boner doesn't really die sometimes for about 10-15 minutes or until I jerk off. I think it's just because you're 14. You might end up getting them when you're about 15 or 16 because testosterone...

The reason why you get them is because of the certain stages of sleep. The 3rd or 4th stage of sleep makes you get a boner because of the vivid dreams you have. If you wake up during the last stage, then you probably won't wake up with a boner. You go through the stages of sleep about 5 times a night, sometimes more.

I most of the time wake up having a boner but it "softens" really fast in like 1 min. Also I think you don't havr to worry about not getting that boner as long as you have no problems with regular erections. (I'm 17 and I forgot whether I used to get morning boners when i was 14)

Lots of boys do and don't. Personally it is different every morning for me. It's normal not to get them if you don't and if you do it's the same thing. Erections in the morning are simply a cause of hormone and brain activity during sleep, contrary to the popular belief of urine build up. Hope this helps!
