Sexuality is not one thing or another. It is fluid. Intimacy is something else again. I find it more fulfilling to be intimate with people I really like and have feelings for. Experimenting is something else again. Putting labels on deeds is not a good idea as you are putting people and actions in defined boxes.

Saying that, I have been intimate with good friends that I had real feelings for. Intimacy with a mate is between you and them. It should not define you or your feelings.

I'll give you an example. A good friend who I had real feelings for was in crisis and I cuddled with him and made him feel better. He needed to know someone cared and I wanted to express that with actions. It led to kissing and deep intimacy. He is not my boyfriend and we are not getting married, we just shared our bodies with each other and I don't think any less of him and he of me.

One thing is for sure, he will always be my friend and I will always remember fondly of the intimate time we had together. That doesn't mean it will never happen again. It just means we are both open and true to our feelings for each other and that is what friends are for.
