What are your thoughts on.... spoilers??

Do you go to lengths to avoid them on your favorite shows or movies or do you not mind? Like if you come across an article with some piece of information, do you click? Also how long after a movie or an episode is out do ya think you should wait before not having to drop the "hey spoiler alert" warning anymore?

Like i fiercely try protecting my experience of things i seriously fangirl about like Star Wars, Doctor Who and the MCU! ^_^ I recently saw an article that was like "Mark Hamill said something and it confirmed this about ep 9!" I was like NOPE NOPE NOPE  But even though sometimes movie trailers give stuff away, I can't help myself with seeking those out! Plus what am i gonna do in a theatre, close my eyes and cover my ears?? :P btw there WAS much squeeing. lol

I thought it crazy about GoT, spoilers going up many times within 24 hours of airing many times in memes! Those were challenging times!!!! But interestingly, i have found myself hesitant posting here on VT anything with the biggest reveal in Empire Strikes back even though it is decades old because i actually met someone on here who has never seen Star Wars and revealed that he doesn't know any of that twist even though it is so famous. That amazed me! I gave him homework to watch Star Wars this summer hahaaa

When there's a movie I'm really looking forward to see, I'm avoiding everything that's got something to do with it like the plague. xD

I think spoiler alerts shouldn't ever be dropped, even if a movie is 100 years old, there are still someone out there who haven't seen it, and probably don't want anything given away. :)

Nobody should reveal ANYTHING in the first 24 hours, even with an "alert/warning."
After that, for the next 6 days, include the warning.
After a week, say what you want, no warning needed.

Eh. I don't really care that much about them.
