To be technically accurate, it was very likely to be your semen but very unlikely that there were any sperm in it yet. I've read that takes a few months, and usually the first few months when we start actually producing sperm they're not very well developed yet. Not necessarily. Particularly if you are just starting to ejaculate. Sperm (or technically semen) can range in color depending on a person's age and even how hydrated they are.

Cowper's fluid, from the Cowper's gland, is what we call precum. It's clear and sticky. The fluid called semen is made in the prostate gland and nourishes the sperm. Just before you ejaculate, your testicles ride up and sometimes sit above the penis. The sperm moves from the testicles to the prostate where it is released into the semen fluid. When I first started jacking, sometimes it would be just clear fluid and sometimes it would be white. An orgasm and an ejaculation are 2 different things, although they mostly happen at the same time. You can have an orgasm without ejaculation.
