Yeah I think not trying to suppress it does help...even if I'm just having a quiet one it's better...so I don't think it's the loudness that helps, just the fact it's not restrained

YES! If you can be as loud as you want then it's always better.

I found I could not rub fast enough, so I got my older sis to buy something which gave me stronger stimulation than my hand ever could

Suppressing your natural reactions lessens the pleasure definitely. It feels more natural and fuller when you don't need to

I would agree, in general I feel like the less worried I am about about noise and being caught the more I can focus on feeling everything. Going into it harder, especially after a long build up is also helpful for making orgasms more powerful.
