What does it mean?

Me and my guy friend text each other sometimes, and usually in those texts he'll call me babe and sometimes put a few xx at the end. he doesn't do this with every text he sends but every now and then he'll do one or the other or even both. What does it mean?

I'm not sure if he text's like that to all his other guy mates but I doubt that he does.

He's probably just trying to be funny. I wouldn't look too much into it. Girls do that with each other all the time, and they're just joking around. Don't automatically assume it means he likes you.

I'm not assuming he does but its just I'm wondering why he does it that's all.

Ask him then. If you're close friends then there's nothing to be ashamed of. It might just be internet influence btw. My fingers automatically type "xxx" at the end of every message now that I am friends with a bunch of people who do so. I never did that before!

I asked him and he replied

I put - "Haha I always wondered why you put it, and I'm not saying you are lol."

He replied saying - "Lol good but I do love you"

I said I loved him to. But I said it as 143 2 then we carried on talking for the rest of the night.

If you feel offended tell him. If not don't care. He will show you if he means it.
