super old converse

Hey!
I was just looking at my hightop converse chucks that ive had since i was 13 and I noticed that theyre like totally dirty looking and really worn. My mum keeps telling me shes going to throw them out :(

Does anyone own a really baaad looking pair of chucks? do you still wear them sometimes?

Or do you have friends who wear them and refuse to buy a new pair? some of my friends are like that :)

You can throw them in the washing machine and they'll be fine.
Or toss 'em in a bucket of soap and water, let them soak, scrub them, and leave them out to dry.

Maybe that'll help them look a bit better and your mom will quit complaining.

ohhh about 2/3 years now, the blacks fading and the whites whet grey but theyre still so comfy hahah :P

I have a pair that are pretty beaten up but I actually prefer them like that. They're a lot more comfortable.

That's when they're the best. They look badass, they're broken in so well that they're a cast mould of your feet, and they have history. There's nothing better than a comfortable pair of shoes that you have walked all over the Earth in. I love my chucks, the pair I'm wearing now I've had for almost a year, they're on their way :P
