What's your go-to movie snack?

I wasn't sure whether I should post this here or in the cooking and food section, but I'll take my chances. xD

As we all know, watching a movie with nothing to snack on is unacceptable, whether it's at a theater or at home. So that begs the question: What do you usually have when you watch a movie?

Although popcorn, despite being a cliche movie snack, comes high up on my list, my number one movie snack is something called "M". Not sure if that particular brand exists outside our little rock, but they're peanuts in chocolate capsules, so to speak.

Ugh, I despise people that eat loudly at the cinema. Sure, you can eat but please do it quietly or eat something quiet like chocolate. I hate when all I hear is crunching and slurping.

Anyway I don't really eat cinema food as it's like £3 for a bag of popcorn. If I do I prefer chocolate.

It's possible to eat the snacks quietly, I usually don't pay attention, but it's annoying when someone eats crisps with their mouth open. :P

No, they're not M&Ms, just M, and they're not in all kinds of colours like M&Ms are, they're all dark. :)

My family both immediate and extended tend to eat entire meals during movie times:

1. BBQ Chicken and Ribs, Wings
2. Rice or Potatoes
3. Mozzarella sticks
4. Salads
5. Pizza
6. Dumplings/Potstickers
7. Chips and other junk foods
8. Broccoli

Just everything meal food.


Here is a shortlist of snacks I eat in the cinema:

1. Pretzels
2. Popcorn
3. Goldfish
4. M&M
5. Chocolate candies
6. Pre-wrapped Whethers or Riesen chocolates

But I need water on hand and I don’t drink soda because I found it makes me go pee real bad and I hate missing my movie for bathroom trips. Water interestingly enough doesn’t have this effect on me.

If I have no water, (sometimes theatre water is gross) then there is no snacks at all.

If I'm at the cinema I'll get popcorn, a drink, and maybe some candy(probably Sour Patch Kids). If I'm at home, I'll grab a bag of chips and some hot sauce and a soda.
