Nostalgia Video Games

Has anyone ever felt nostalgia or inspiration from a video game? If so, which? I love World of Warcraft but due to lack of money most of the time I do not pay to continue. However after hearing much of the older and current classic soundtracks, reading the lore, and other things I felt a nostalgic blow. I love fantasy and WoW and Lord of the Rings got me into fantasy and games with that genre. It brought memories of when I first played WoW.

A lot of people (me too!) had nostalgia for an 7 years older version of RuneScape. Developers made separate servers. THAT'S treating nostalgia.

RuneScape, Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank.. although I never really liked the older Ratchet & Clank games much, my favourites by far are the Future trilogy

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, so many epic moments and lovely characters.

Morrowind and Oblivion. Both managed to be horribly buggy and downright amazing at the same time. I still go back to playing them from time to time.

That, and a little known game called The Guild 2. A buggy mess, but an enjoyable mess, no doubt.

Donkey Kong Country: Diddy Kong's Quest Oh my god, I spent half of my childhood replaying that game over and over on the SNES. I still have the game, but my SNES and the rest of my classic consoles are at my dad's.

I really like the games my dad played when he was my age and playing them with him. Especially original Mario Bros and PacMan.

Fallout New Vegas gave me such nostalgia for Fallout 1 and 2 because of the references. I started playing them again.

Also Pokemon Red/Gold, Kirby's Dreamland, Super Mario 64, Yoshi's Story, Yoshi's Island, all the DDR games, and Taiko Drum Master :D
