I suppose we all have actors who rub us the wrong way for whatever reason. Thought it could be interesting to see which actors people on here dislike.
An actor I can't stand and makes me change the channel is Adam Sandler. When he's on, I'll be like "Nope!", and watch something else. :P
NOTE: It's nothing personal against the actor as a human being, and the guy's got to eat. I just don't care for seeing him on screen. xD

Sandler can actually act pretty well when he's given dramatic roles. He just chooses to star in and make terrible low-brow comedies because they're easy and he makes a lot of money. Similar in that he stars in a lot of bad movies, Owen Wilson because I don't think I've ever found him particularly entertaining.
Quentin Tarantino is a brilliant director but such a weak actor and his scene in Django was so bad.
There was a time when Jai Courtney and Sam Worthington were inexplicably in big movies when they just don't have the talent or charisma. Like Arnold Schwarznegger was never the greatest actor but at least he had charisma. Similar to that, Keanu Reeves can be used correctly but he's not good enough to carry anything complex. Same with Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel. Mark Wahlberg can do some acceptable work but he just chooses to be in some trash where he's no good.
Jaden Smith is only in movies because of Will Smith and Will Smith was never the world's greatest actor to begin with.
Apart from Pulp Fiction, John Travolta is usually pretty weak. Okay, he's acceptable in Grease but Grease is, well, Grease - just dumb schlock.
January Jones is pretty wooden apart from in Mad Men.
Cameron Diaz was never that great either.

There are many actors of questionable quality. Of the top of my head there are two I specially think has to be mensioned in my post here.
Dwayne Johnson: His only acting is lifting his eyebrow.
And Kristen Stewart: All her acting in the Twilight movies was to feel bad about herself, and she did that by looking embarrased like she just farted.

I'm not a fan of Kirsten Stewart either. I've only seen one of the Twilight movies, but she had pretty much the same expression on her face throughout.

The Twilight films aren't exactly high-art though. Though apparently she's not that great in anything else either. I've heard Robert Pattinson has been good in some other movies but I haven't seen those ones yet.

I think Kristen Stewart is actually a good actress if you watch some of her indie roles there really good, to many people put her down for her twilight role but she actually played the role as it was written in the books a anxious nervous not very out going girl who has never had many friends.
I don't like Ben Affleck
I also don't like Taylor Lautner he was ok on twilight but everything else he's been in he's awful

Emilia Clarke. I love her on GoT, but anything else she has done, not so much! Maybe it is her choice of roles, i dunno.

I think Shia LeBeouf fits this for me. The Just Do It thing is hysterically bad. He seems like the biggest asshole in everything I have ever seen him in

Only the first Pirates movie is actually worth watching. Depp gets just progressively more tired as they went on, much like everything else in the movies.

I can't think of any actors I'm sick of from the top of my head but there are sure a lot of actors who I'm tired of seeing in literally everything: Kevin Hart, Dwayne Johnson and Adam Sandler come to mind amongst others. I have nothing against them, they all have been amazing in some role or another but an oversaturation of an actor means they can't put the effort and attention into a role that hey need to be amazing. Look at Meryl Streep, Glenn Close and Eddie Redmayne: they all have maybe a role or two a year but are great in almost every role because they leave enough time between roles to put the effort in.

I can’t really think of many, some people on here have had some good picks. I’m just choosing some types of actors, we have “characters in made-for-television Lifetime movies, child actors going through puberty, some voice actors for the dubbed versions of obscure anime (Fun!!, for example), and actors on certain soap operas. :)

Since this thread is up and running again, I might as well add Jonah Hill to the pile. I don't know what it is, but he's got the "Sandler-effect" on me. xD

I kinda feel the same way with how she’s twisted the goodwill of the metoo movement.
As for male actors, Jesse Eisenberg, doesn’t do it for me, unless it’s a select role.
I want to say that I think part of my opinion is I feel Hollywood is reusing a set list of actors and actresses and we get over-exposed to them in too short of a timeframe rather than seeing a multitude of faces and acting skill sets.
I think casting agencies really need to start pushing new talent and focus on the talent and diversity rather than kinda cheap token diversity or preachy messaging in modern TV and movie dialogue that’s really 4th wall breaking to whatever suspension of disbelief movies and TV shows require to get a brand-story going.

Me too. Have seen few movies with him, don't like his acting and attitude.
