When you shave/trim your pubes do they grow back darker? Are there any areas of your body hair/ pubes that are lighter or darker, I feel like theres a difference between my scrotum hair and the rest of my pubes.

I've never shaved my pubes, so I may not be of much help, but they should grow back the same, only quicker as if you were shaving your face. If they do get darker, that would be from getting older and another part of puberty, I would think.

I shaved my pubes a few times when I was 14 and then inevitably decided to never do it again. But about the thing with the hair growth: it's all just myths! Shaving or trimming does NOT enhance the rate of growth, colour or thickness.

As for the colour, my hair is pretty black so it's dark everywhere. But there's of course some regions where my pubes are not as dense thus seeming darker. But some of my hair strands often turn slightly brighter when exposed to strong sunlight. This could occur.

But it's of course also possible, that your pubes have different colour intensities, why not.

Multicoloured pubes would be kind of cool. I wonder if that's a thing (;

My pubes and scrotum hair are darker than the hair on my head. Not sure why this is.

no, and the concept of that is an old wives tale, they just appear darker as your cutting off the thinner part of a hair (hair is tapered lol) leaving only the shorter, thick stump; making it appear darker and thicker

I shaved mine once when I was like 13 or 14 but didn't like it and wouldn't do it again. Also when they grew back they were the same colour.

I shaved once. They didn’t grow back any darker or thicker. But never again. I keep my bush natural

They absolutely do not change when they grow back. Sometimes it can look that way because the ends of the hairs are differently shaped because they’ve been sliced by the razor.

I keep them trim from time to time but no noticeable difference in color.

Have never shaved --- but do trim every once in a while -- have never noticed a difference.

I've tried shaving and trimming, it didn't make it darker or thicker. It grew back the same. I just keep it trimmed now

I shave and trim depending on my mood, but I have never noticed any difference in coloring. My pubes are slightly darker than my head hair color, but I think thats the same for most.

They don’t grow back darker
They may look courser/thicker because they come back having been chopped off at the base, they aren’t tapered fine anymore

haven't try but don't think it would make them darker

Couple guys on my swim do, But they have alot of pubs.

My Best Friend shaves his Trail, from the top of his pubs up.

I was shaved when I had my appendix removed, Not sure why, they were not cutting anywhere near my pubs. They grew back and itched alot when they did.

I don’t think mine grow back darker but it kinda seems like they grow back a little bit thicker. Mine pubes are about the same color as the rest of my hair, maybe a little darker.

My pubes first came in blonde and then darkened to light brown with some blonde hairs mixed in. I don't shave and don't want to look like a 10 year old again. I have trimmed a few but they don't come back a different color
