View Full Version : Why there is penis sizes?

I was with my best friend in a bathroom where there is this urinal that looks like long sinks. I suspected that his penis was bigger than mine just looking at his bulge in his pants. We took out our penis to urinate and that's where I saw his penis. He was about 7.5 "half-boner, which is huge next to my 2.3". This led me to ask myself a question. Why, biologically, can there be a great variety in penis size, unlike other members of the body?

Some people have long piano player fingers and others have tiny Trump hands. Some people have pug noses and others are Cyranos. Some women have huge breasts and some have small ones. So there are LOTS of differences in body parts sizes. If everyone was the same sized everything we wouldn't know who borrowed money from us :)

Plus it would confuse my dogs.

I find it weird how people can precisely tell the size of someones penis without a ruler.

Anyway we are all different and it would be incredibly boring if we were the same.

The answer is::: We are all different in some ways.

It's basically a fact of genetics and nature. Our genes determine our body characteristics. That's why you have some people who are short and others who are tall. Some people have great singing voices and others (like me) can't carry a tune in a bucket. We are what we are thanks to our genes.

I am not sure penis size do vary more than any other part of the body. People are tall or short, some have big noses, some small noses etc.

What may be different about a penis is that it's soft size isn't constant. While erect, especially right before you cum is the biggest it ever gets, it's only usually at it's smallest when you're cold and you body has diverted the blood circulation to the core organs to preserve heat. At all other times it is somewhere bewteen that smallest size and it's erect size depending on temperature and what else you body needs blood for.

The other thing to bear in mind is the perspective of looking down at your own makes it look shorted in a way that looking sideways at someone else's doesn't. You can check this out youself by looking at yourself in a mirror rather than directly.

There is not only a great variety of penis shapes... Every part of a human body has a great number of various sizes and shapes... One needs to learn to spot it...

It’s all about attracting a mate and size and shape also has a purpose for passing on genes
If a female has been cummed in, the shape of the head of the penis can act like a pump and pull out the existing cum and you can try replace most of it with yours

Next time you cum in a girl don’t stope stroking in and out of you can and you’ll see how much of your cum ends up outside of her before your done

Actually, studies and research can show us a high probability that the human variety in penis size has its causes in our cultural change and the genetic forces which changed with our culture as well.

To say it as easy and short as possible:
Although many think that women must have had a say in their mates and ultimately choose a mate who could satisfy them completely (thus resulting in choosing a slightly bigger size than average), the reality paints a different picture. Since our agricultural revolution, the pre-industrial society chose the mates for their females as a matter of family business. Things like capabilities of providing enough recourses and for the group were much more important than sexual fulfillment. So, women did not choose but had to take what was offered to them in the most cases.
This gave the genes an environment without pressure because most varieties were usable. Thus resulting in no genetic selection over the generations.

And that's why men have different varieties in penis size. Because it was not important to our survival for the longest time.

But now that we entered the industrial age many human societies experience a shift in the importance of intimacy and sexual and emotional fulfillment. This gives women more freedom to choose their mates, resulting in them preferring slightly bigger endowed males and emotional security.
It is suspected by some that the male penis variety will get more stable and minimal over time. This of course takes a very very long time.

It's clear that this is a theory which is based on studies and cultural science. Don't take it as absolute evidence.

Genetic variation occurs in all healthy populations of organisms controlling characteristics like hair colour, heights, metabolism rate and, yes, penis size. Variation is not only natural but beneficial to the survival of the human race as a wide variety of genes lowers the chance of 2 of the same genes combining in one offspring, increasing the likelihood of genetic illnesses. Plus, as we all will know from natural selection,, variation can prove vital in the survival of a species. That isn't to say big dicks will save humanity, just that it is one of many highly variable characteristics that we have.

Plus if ll guys had the same size wiener then there would only be one kind of truck which would be boring. Everyone knows guys make up for wiener size with bigger trucks and SUVs.

Wait. My uncle drives an RV. What does that mean?

penis size varies for the same reason you look different than me, why one girl has bigger breasts than another and why my hair is brown and another guys could be black.

Wait. So you're saying some people believe that before the industrial revolution that penis size varied much ?ore than it does now. And that because men now have different jobs and different roles that all penis will eventually become more alike? If that's true, it's so weird. So men with lsrge penises will be more rare? Same with people with small penises? If it's true that before the industrial revolution that penis size varied much more greater than now, what groups had the large Dicks and which ones had the small ones? One would guess evolution played a part in this process, and assuming everything in evolution has a purpose, what was the purpose of groups of people having tiny dicks in the past? One can imagine based on your post that having a large dick attracted women as it implied he was strong and powerful and potent and special (even though we now know that isn't necessarily the case) but can't figure out evolution's purpose with small dicks. Did these tiny dicked men never find a mate, start a family, and die off?

Wait. So you're saying some people believe that before the industrial revolution that penis size varied much ?

Actually, I have my doubts too. So this is about evolution which is a two step process, i.e. a mutation causes a change in characteristic and then a characteristic that leads to greater reproductive success spreads through the population.

So, for example, in deer, if a male fawn was born with a change to a gene that meant that once he became a stag he had bigger antlers than his fellow stags, and if female deer preferred stags with bigger antlers (which I believe they do) then he would likely get to mate with all the females in his group whilst his less endowed peers missed out. In a very short time this new gene would be in all the new-born fawns and thus, in time, within all the deer in that population.

But, in human society, we at least make an attempt at monogamy, i.e. one man, one woman. So with roughly equal numbers of male and female, anyone who isn't prevented by other things, like infertility, who wants children should be able to have them, i.e. no-one should miss out because of a lack of partner.

The only way the kind of sexual selection we saw in deer could still be at work is if significant numbers of women married one man but then got pregnant by a different man, i.e. married a man she thinks would be best able to support her but had sex with a man she finds more sexy. I am sure some of this does go on, but I am not sure it is significant enough to cause a significant effect.

I am also not sure what difference the industrial revolution would have made. I think women still value security just as they would have done in pre-industrial times. What characteristics correspond with security may have changed, i.e. it may have moved from physical strength working in the fields to being able to earn good money some other way, but I can't see that penis size has ever had anything to do with security.

The only thing that could have made a difference is the advent of a welfare state as it enables some women to forget about settling down with a man. Instead they can have sex with whoever they find sexy and then rely on benefits to provide security. Even then, thought, I don't think that alone tells us anything about how significant penis size is in selecting a man.

This is just general information about the penis size. All of you are right . I read about it one time. The overall average size world wide is 5.5 in. long. how ever different parts of the world is different size people and so is the penis size. Southeast Asia has the smallest and some parts of Africa has the larges of over 6 inches. and it make sense because where there is small people it small. Where there is larger people it bigger. Just like animals, the giraffes see there size and compare it to small dog. and you can compare it with a large dog.

Agree. I have never heard of evolution of penis size, and even if it happened, I doubt it happened because of women's desires to mate or whatever.

When I went swimming with my best friend in 9th grade, I was shocked when we changed in the lockerroom. He had 4 1/2 thick inches hanging down while I only had a 1 1/2 inch stub. He spent more time being naked than he had to, I think to show off. Later I found out what showers and growers were. He had small hands and thin feminine looking fingers, where mine were big. So, I was really surprised.
