Why is it that sometimes, even after all notifications have been viewed and whatnot, it still says they're unread or whatever? For example, there was a post quote (after some figuring out) so I viewed it but it still said I had a notification when I didn't. Is anyone else having this issue and why is this happening?

Some things, such as post quotes and friend requests, require you to acknowledge them and then go on to another page to clear them. I find sometimes that after I view a quote or friend request on my profile - I will have to go to another page on VT to "complete" the acknowledgement and clear it from my notifications.

I did that. I went to my profile to my quotes tab and clicked on the link to the quote. It's still there now actually, the notification. Nothing else has come through though.

Also, on my PC, there's no drop-down menu for notifications. It instead takes me my user CP. On my phone, however, where I use my browser, the menu is there? Has anyone noticed this? And now the notification is gone from both. Happen to anyone else?

has anyone ever clicked "Unread Post Quotes" from the notification dropdown and been redirected to the login screen? this happens even if I just logged in and had "remember me" checked.

I have had 2 unread VM notifications stuck in my notifications drop down menu for about 2 years now. I've tried everything, can't get them to go away.
