It depends. Sometimes people will use curious to describe their sexuality - like they know they like the opposite sex but they think they might try just a little bit (usually not going all the way) to see how they feel about it. I think you mean curious meaning curious about trying specific sexual things. I'd say I'm curious about trying something if I would be interested in trying it but in a limited way where I could just try it a little bit and everything felt right and non-judgemental.

Exactly. I am the same way. It has taken me 2-3 years to realize I am more attracted to boys and want to do stuff with them sexually. That is "curious" in my opinion.

One of the problems about words is they sometimes mean different things in different situations. You've had two different views in this thread: that it means being curious about other boys, and that it mean being curious about things that might be described as kinky.

I think both of these meanings have something in common. At the time we are becoming more aware of our own bodies, especially our dicks and what we can do with them, and of other people's bodies we are also becoming more aware of the advantages of fitting in socially and working out where we fit. As part of that we have a renewed interest in the expectation that guys grow up to fancy girls and then go on to have sex with them, and even children. We learn that masturbation is fine in the meantime but that doesn't change the basic destination.

So, with that background, being curious means feeling the urge to explore anything that doesn't fit with the social expectations we perceive. Taking an interest in other boys bodies is part of that, whether that is limited to checking out/comparing or whether you actually do something. Doing even private things that you think may not be mainstream is also part of it. There are plenty of threads on here from people asking "is it normal to....?"

As for what to do about it, I think it's a case of putting things in perspective. If you're on the football team you presumably have something in common in that you enjoy playing football. That doesn't mean you all have to be the same in every other respect. You don't have to like the same non-sports clothing or fancy the same girls or even fancy girls at all. When you're in a group, explore what you have in common, but don't let that stifle your individuality. You can still be true to yourself.
