I have always thought of doing porn as a minor income and such. Is there anyone that legally makes or acts in porn that either knows where to start in the industry? I would obviously do it at 18 but just something I have always thought about.

My thinking is to stay far far away from any activity where you are going to be in contact with the dark side of society. The closer you are, the more likely people bad intentions will dangle tempting opportunities and sucker you into doing things you never ever thought you be doing.
Besides, asking for advice on TV on how become a porn star doesn't seem like a good place to start.
...just my thoughts :)

Don't want be blunt, but I hope not on this server.
Just ask the professionals on their sites. You should know them anyway.

I've never been in the industry (obviously) but I've watched and read some stuff about it.
Well, your choice so, as long as you're over 18, it should be fine. The professional porn industry can be pretty skeezy when it comes to paying people though, I've heard, and has a lot of addiction problems and stuff. Also, for guys, most of the money is in gay porn.
I'd make sure to read through any contract you're given very well, stick to reputable and classy establishments and, if possible, do it independently. I know that there are some sites where people can sell clips that they've made themselves.
This is not really a useful place to be posting this if you want advice from people about working in that industry. Maybe there's a Reddit community or something idk.

Think twice. Our local District Attorney was outed that he was a porn star back when he was a young guy and he lost his reelection. He had been a successful attorney for years and was able to avoid the fact of his previous life but it ended his career years and years later.

I don't think this is the right place to
ask about doing porn. Even if u got
some advice or have someone talk
u into anything u r still under age
and on the web u have to watch
what u do. Someone can b not
what they say they r. Once u
turn 18 then u can control ur
actions.

My knowledge of the porn industry isn’t very great but from what I do know it’s not easy to actually be successful and make money off of it. There’s so many people trying to become a porn actor that the demand for them is really low. Also there are way more women that get better jobs and paid more because most people that watch porn are dudes.

It seems like a great idea when thinking about it on a very surface level. I mean, who doesn't want to get paid to have sex all day? Sounds pretty good to me! :D
Well, the problem comes when you find out the reality of it. First of all, it's not at all about you or your pleasure, it's all about the viewers :(. It's just like being any other kind of actor. Essentially that's what you are: an actor.
Plus, you're going to be mixed in with a lot of crowds that you're not going to want to be around. In that industry there's typically a lot of drugs and such. My advice, it's great as a fantasy, DON'T ACTUALLY DO IT!
As always, the choice is yours. Just understand the whole picture before getting into something you don't necessarily want. :D

Because there is so much free porn out there the reality is that money you make from porn might not be as much as you think since paid porn faces a lot of competition. Your pay could be a flat rate and definitely not going to be a paycheck like with a regular job.
If your concern is the future on how to pay for a post-high school life I think a far better way to go is to look a budgeting and creating a lifestyle that you can afford. For example, if you want to go to university, then make sure you choose a school that is affordable like a state school and go into a major where you will have work upon graduating. Try to live in a place that is not too costly, and if commuting from home whether it is for school or work is an option, then you might want to try that until you're on your feet financially.
Another thing you have to consider is that if you get involved with porn, especially if you're having sex with others, is that will you have access to healthcare to take care of problems in case something like a STD comes up? I doubt porn places will provide you with health insurance, and you have no way of knowing if the models in porn are clean. Since the porn industry is not exactly the most reputable one out there it has no incentive to play by the rules or to treat its employees well. Just remember you're expendable when it comes to porn.
I totally agree with the others that just keep in mind that your 18 year old self will be a lot different than an older version of you. Like the others had mentioned, if you go onto a good career later on in life and people find out you were in porn, then that will torpedo your life at that point. Especially if you start a family one day, then it will be really awkward to explain to your family that you were in something like porn. Porn can be around for a very long time, and people can dig up things many years after the fact when you least expect it.
If you are naturally an exhibitionist and truly want to share your body, then that is your choice. I just would think very carefully about doing porn and to be able to live with being labeled for the rest of your life if you end up doing it.

Something to keep in mind but it's also just kinda keeping a shitty situation. Sex work is still work. It's a shitty thing for the public to push a competent person out of their career for being in something that wasn't hurting someone. If more people don't stand up and say this is okay, then sex workers will continue to be marginalised. But I understand that that's not something that most people want to do. I know I couldn't handle the stress.

Stay away from the p*rn industry. It's not exactly pretty and its mostly all acted out. That and it's a poor choice of career if you want an actual social life

This isn't appropriate for a teen site. At all.
