Everybody thought I was the happy kid. I was until my mom died suddenly in February of 2012. I soon spiraled into a deep depression. My epilepsy began to kick in/act up. I started having more seizures. And two years later, the depression is still stronger than ever. With my grandma, who I am extremely close with, recently being put into a nursing home, life just seems to be getting worse not better. I can't seem to shake this depression.

:hug3: Well there will always be people here to talk to. Have you gone to a professional about it?

Pretty much in the same state of mind although I don't think I'm depressed since I don't have all of the symtoms, but I do have the main one, since years but now my mom is dead, my own wish to be as well is extremely strong.
Stay strong we are here for you
But yeah you got to stay strong and don't let yourself become apathetic, I have to move now my mom has died so I'm focusing on this and don't want to be unmotivated. Life is harsh, got to fight to stay alive.

Try and see if you can get some counseling at school.

Life is full of many suprieses and many disasters, its hard going through the disasters and moving on, you need to keep your head up high and kind of get distracted with stuff to do to stop you thinking about the problems, seek professional help, they will help you recover.

Hey just so you know, I struggle really bad with depression and also have a rather severe case of epilepsy myself and range from 20-40 seizures daily.
I might be a girl, but if you need someone to talk to about it, I'm definitely here! :)

Sounds like you should maybe seek help from a therapist or something. A lot of people struggle with depression and epilepsy and getting professional help could help you deal with things a little better.
