last time i showered with a family member was with my sister when we were 12. Then obviously the shower got too small for the both of us and we started going into puberty so i havent showered with a family member since then. I wouldnt really feel comfortable, maybe with my sister it would be ok, but still it would be a bit awkward

Yep, we all shower together. Generally our rule is that if the door is shut, don't bother the person because there is usually a...smell...to go with them. But for everything else (shaving, showering, teeth brushing, etc) its fine for whoever, whenever. But we are nudists so it really isn't anything big.

I know most people would complain about that. But raised in a nudist family from birth, seeing each other is the least of our problems. We have two bathes. I am glad that we are nudists because we don't have to wait like other families to use the bathroom or changing our clothes. For me, seeing my family clothed is weird.

So if you go to a nudist camp, you might shower openly next to an opposite gender anyway. I rather it be my dad. Things don't lead to certain things. My brother and dad can be hard all day and I will still give them a hug or sit right next to them. I don't think about sex around them. They can be hard right next to me , all day, and I don't think like that. We do the same thing that a clothed family would do, but we are nude. A lot people are not use to this lifestyle. I'd did a lot research about this myself. In many other countries, naked families are the norm, like Germany. My cousin, who is station in Germany, he said his girlfriend family is always nude like us. He even sees people walking around their home and city parks nude. When he drove to another country up north, he saw several men and women walking around in the towns nude.

I spoke to my older brother about this;

He said guys only get hard if they see something sexually exciting, or are in a sexual situation. They must be thinking, even subconsciously, about sex with that person - especially to STAY hard for a period of time.

For example seeing a naked old woman or a 4 year old child wouldn't cause an erection, but seeing a 16 year old girl naked might.

So you may not be thinking sexual thoughts but he is.... The sexual excitement (your naked body) the stimulating sexual situation (showering with you next to him).

I'm not saying he'd ever do anything to you, but it's a biological perspective and something to think about. His hard penis brushing against you no longer sounds so innocent... Especially if it's a big walk in shower. And he knows you are making him hard... Cus well, it's pretty damn obvious that he's pointing at you lol...
