Hi everyone, I have a quick question about my body hair growth. I’m 16 1/2 and I don’t have a lot of body hair. I have very little pit hair, little chest hair, little stomach hair, and little arm and leg hair.I say little relative to you’re typical hairy teen boy. In regards to facial hair, I shave the light hairs on upper lip and light hairs on cheeks and chin. Some other info is that I’m 6’2 260 pounds and 6 inch penis.

My question is basically... When will my body hair grow more? Is there anything I can do to increase body hair growth (naturally)? Why don’t I have a lot of body hair?

And really if u guys have anything to say regarding body hair growth, that works:

Thanks!

I would say that you are what you are. You can't change that. Other than my pits and pubes I don't have a lot of body hair. A light happy trail and I do need to shave my face basically daily.

I agree with Jamie.
If it helps, many guys in my family just seem to just gradually get more hair over the years. It starts in the key new places during puberty and then just continues expanding from there over time.
By the time I'm 80, I fully expect to be as covered as a gorilla.

The amount of body hair varies from one person to another. Just look on the beach or at the swimming pool and see that adult men vary from almost hairless, though a medium amount of hair to loads of hair. As they are fully mature that variation is genetic rather than due to a different stage of development.

It can be confusing when you're not certain if you are fully development because it is not obvious what is down to stage of development and what is down to how hairy you will be as an adult.

You may get an idea of how hairy you will end up being by looking at other men in your family but bear in mind you don't inherit those genes only from your father.

it ultimately comes down to genetics, if your parents, grand parents or even further didn’t have much body hair it’s quite possible neither will you, and also depends what stage in puberty you are in. so there is a possibility it’ll grow more but also very possible that it won’t
