Ryan, the Vietnamese way of saying my name it kind of sounds like the word sin. If you say it like most people say it then it sounds sort of like the name Shawn or some people say it and it sounds like Shoe Ann. It is actually suppose to sound the Vietnamese way though, but I take any of the ways. :)
