I'm not a nudist but I have been thinking about the idea more, it does sound interesting to me.
I've noticed some of you girls on the forum talking about it. So for those of you who are nudists, were you born into a nudist family or did you start at a certain age? If you started later, how did that happen? Was it your parents that said let's try out nudism as a family or did you start and then family decided to join you?
Where all do you go nude, just at home or also at nudist places?

Just curious about it all so if any of you are willing to share I would love to hear.

I am a nudist and have been for a long time. My gf and I frequently visit Euronat and CHM Montalivet in France ... located south of the Gironde where it is much warmer than here in UK. Both venues are in pine forests which front an amazing beach.

I went straight into the deep end so to speak. Having a full bush helped me get the courage because my pubes hides my pussy.

Emma1133 These days most of my friends know that we (my family) are nudists. When I was younger some of my friends knew, not that I told just everyone but I never made a secret out of it either. Especially not during the summer, because mom and I love to tan nude behind the house on the patio.

And indeed, when we have non-nudist visitors/friends we don't want to make them feel uncomfortable. But being topless in and around the house (and the beach) during warm days in the summer is not a big issue in The Netherlands.

I’m a nudist and I’m born in a nudist environment. I’m technically a third generation nudist. I stay naked at home and also on nude beaches etc. I live very close to a nudist beach. My suggestion is to start at home if you’re new. Accept your body and see how it goes. If you can find a nudist beach then that’s great but usually it’s hard to find in the US.... If possible maybe share with someone and if you’re parents are ok with it, it would be much easier for you....

We have San Onofre down here to, but the nudist section got shut down. Being that Blacks is in La Jolla one would think that we would have high school and college kids here too. I have a friend who goes to Blacks occasionally and she said the last time she was there she saw some older dude walking around with a boner, and another one was behind some bushes masturbating. If SDPD patrolled the beach better it would be like the one you go to

I've also been to dozens of nude beaches and naturist resorts, my family attends them every summer and while on vacation. It seems healthy and natural to me, and I've always been perfectly fine in just my skin and actually don't like to wear clothes unless I have to.

So this weekend for the first time my friend and I hung out naked together for a few hours. We were having a sleepover at her house and at night we decided to try it out. It was so fun, we both loved it. It felt so freeing and exciting. It was really cool.

I have made a lot of progress in just a month since I started this thread. Wow, so much progress.
When I first posted this I was already getting naked in my room or around the house when no one was home. Well in the past month I had accidental encounters where mom and dad saw me naked.
One was I was sleeping naked and mom came in to wake me up and so she saw me naked and she didn't even mention it. Then another time I was trying to be brave by running from the shower back to my bedroom naked and I ended up turning the corner and actually running into my dad. He just laughed and told me to slow down. So he didn't freak out either.

It all made me feel kinda strange because I didn't know what they were thinking, so a friend here encouraged me to talk to my mom about it all. So I finally did.

It went really well. Mom said it was fine that I liked to be naked and that she thought it was pretty normal. She said that when she was younger she did the same thing and said that dad did too. She told me that if it was important to me, then I could be naked upstairs as much as I wanted. It's usually just me upstairs but mom and dad have thier bedroom upstairs too, so they will defintely see me naked. There is also a tv/loft area upstairs that I hang out in a lot. Mom said i could be naked anywhere upstairs but if I come downstairs I should probably put on a tshirt or robe or something. She said she would talk to dad about it all but that she knew he would be ok with everything.

So wow, a lot has happened and I never expected to be turning into more a of nudist for real and mom and dad being ok with it. I'm still reallllly nervous about it all and haven't been naked much outside of room still, but I'm going to try more and more now.

hey really there is progress in your nudist way..my parents said ok when i suggested this family nudism..as a trial we were fully nude on one Sunday..my cuz sister also joined us..Then we visited one nudist camp..it was a thrilling experience..it is a natural instinct and nothing wrong about it.

He just laughed and told me to slow down. So he didn't freak out either.

It all made me feel kinda strange because I didn't know what they were thinking, so a friend here encouraged me to talk to my mom about it all. So I finally did.

It went really well. Mom said it was fine that I liked to be naked and that she thought it was pretty normal. She said that when she was younger she did the same thing and said that dad did too. She told me that if it was important to me, then I could be naked upstairs as much as I wanted. It's usually just me upstairs but mom and dad have thier bedroom upstairs too, so they will defintely see me naked. There is also a tv/loft area upstairs that I hang out in a lot. Mom said i could be naked anywhere upstairs but if I come downstairs I should probably put on a tshirt or robe or something. She said she would talk to dad about it all but that she knew he would be ok with everything.

No, I wouldn't consider myself to be a nudist, but I enjoy and am usually ok with being naked. My sister and my mom see each other naked a lot when I shower or change. There are strict rules on what I can wear around my dad so I obviously can't just walk around naked.

I've been a nudist all my life. My dad's family was actually nudist as well when he was growing up, and he convinced my mom to join the lifestyle and raise their kids that way too.

We're pretty much always nude at home, and we go to beaches and resorts on vacation too. I definitely recommend trying it to anyone who's interested, it's very freeing and relaxing and helps you feel confident in your own body I think.

Hiya Emily is great to hear your parents are so supportive in letting you be naked at home and inside and if suitable in your back garden that is NOT over looked by by neighbours that could make lots of trouble for you and any siblings and parents.
I am lucky enough not to have that issue as our nearest neighbours is about a quarter of a mile away as we live out country.
Your parents may have told (close) friends about you going nude, but even know how close they are and how much you all trust them they may say something to someone they know and trust. But as a lot of non naturists/nudists think naturism /nudism = SEX BUT NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH.
Even posts on here makes out that lots of Girls and Boys that like being nude it must be a "SEXUAL THING" and that's what gets Naturists /Nudists a bad name.

That's ok, nudism isn't for everyone. For me, discovering nudism has been amazing and I love it, but I also understand that many aren't into it and don't feel comfy with it.

like my dad told me abt it ahead of time b4 we started moving over & shit. I was kinda like ...wtf? when I first ever heard him bring it up. but he explained it rly well & said it was always my choice to do wt I wanted etc so that made me feel better abt it?

Lol thanks a million for the compliment. To walk in front of people I don’t know in the nude, idk if I would fit in if that makes sense. Haven’t been to any of these things before so I have no idea how to act and like what to do. On top of all that, I’d be embarrassed about people watching me but maybe that’s an accustomed feeling. Yes, I'm a nudist. My family often go nude but that's not as unusual here in Belgium as it seems to be for people in some other areas. My parents took the lead and it's never been something I've really thought about. It just happens.

I've older and younger siblings and we're used to being nude together at the Thermal Spa and Saunas, at the nudist part of the 'beach' (it's a lake), at the open air swimming pool and with friends, both mine and my Parent's.

At home we're not nude all the time, but often at weekends, especially when the weather is good. Like I said it's not unusual to bd nude here, so we're not seen as being strange or extreme. It's just enjoying the sun and the wind without wearing clothing.

Not a nudist but I get nudity is more natural in some cultures than others
Once you’ve been to onsen you won’t want to bathe any other way and having company is normal
